The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 use the familiar form factor of the original AirPods.

The Galaxy Buds3 are mid-range true wireless earbuds that have the original Apple AirPod design—the main part of the bud sits on your concha (the cup part of your ear just outside the ear canal). The controls are on the triangular tail that hangs down from the bud. Since they don’t go into your ear, they’re quite comfortable, but because of that placement, they can also easily fall out. If you’ve had issues with this style in previous earbuds, you’ll likely have the same experience with the Buds3.

The small case has a smoked translucent cover that looks great. It supports wireless charging. Inside the box is just a USB-C-to-USB-C charging cable. Inside each earbud is a single 11mm dynamic driver. They connect to your phone via Bluetooth 5.4. If you have a Samsung phone, they support the Samsung Seamless Codec and if you have a newer Samsung TV, 360 audio.

In white the Buds3 could pass as AirPods. The silver color, like our review sample, looks classy in some lighting, and surprisingly cheap in others.
